What Is the Vietnam Airlines Tuesday App Deal?

The promotion is designed to encourage customers to book through the Vietnam Airlines mobile application.

Every Tuesday, travelers can open the app, search an eligible flight and enter the applicable promotional code to receive up to 10% off the airfare.

This can be especially useful if you're planning:

• A domestic Vietnam itinerary
• Hanoi–Da Nang flights
• Ho Chi Minh City–Phu Quoc trips
• Hanoi–Ho Chi Minh City journeys
• Vietnam-to-India travel
• Vietnam-to-Australia travel
• Vietnam-to-Europe travel
• Trips from Vietnam to other eligible international destinations

The important distinction is that the international promotion applies to international routes departing from Vietnam. It should not automatically be assumed to apply to flights beginning in Australia, India or another overseas market merely because the promotion page is available in that country's language/site version.

Promo Code APPDEAL - Up to 10% OFF on Domestic Vietnam Flights

Travelers flying within Vietnam should use:

APPDEAL

The code provides 10% off eligible domestic base fares when booked through the mobile app during the promotional window.

Booking dates

The domestic offer is available every Tuesday from September 1 through October 27, 2026.

Travel dates

Eligible travel can take place through:

December 31, 2026

subject to applicable flight/date restrictions.

Eligible fare classes

The domestic promotion applies to:

Economy Classic: K and L

Economy Lite: Q, N, R, T and E.

Which Domestic Routes Are Included?

Vietnam Airlines lists a broad selection of domestic routes.

Examples include connections between:

Hanoi and:
Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Hue, Da Lat, Buon Ma Thuot, Dien Bien, Pleiku, Tuy Hoa, Dong Hoi, Chu Lai, Can Tho, Vinh and Quy Nhon.

Ho Chi Minh City and:
Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Da Nang, Hue, Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Buon Ma Thuot, Van Don, Tuy Hoa, Dong Hoi, Chu Lai, Pleiku, Vinh and Dien Bien.

Da Nang and:
Can Tho, Buon Ma Thuot, Hai Phong, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Van Don, Thanh Hoa, Vinh and Pleiku.

Additional eligible city pairs are listed in Vietnam Airlines' official terms.

Popular Routes Worth Checking

For tourists, some particularly useful routes include:

Hanoi → Da Nang

A convenient flight for travelers combining northern Vietnam with central Vietnam's beaches, Hoi An and Da Nang.

Ho Chi Minh City → Phu Quoc

Ideal for travelers looking to add a tropical island stay to a southern Vietnam itinerary.

Hanoi → Ho Chi Minh City

One of Vietnam's major domestic air corridors and useful for visitors exploring both ends of the country.

Ho Chi Minh City → Da Lat

A good option for travelers interested in cooler weather, mountain scenery and cafés.

Ho Chi Minh City → Nha Trang

Useful for combining the country's largest southern city with a beach holiday.

Promo Code APPMAZING: Up to 10% Off International Flights

For eligible international journeys, use:

APPMAZING

Vietnam Airlines states that this offer applies to eligible international routes departing from Vietnam.

Purchase period

The promotion runs through:

December 31, 2026

on eligible Tuesday bookings.

Travel period

Eligible travel is available through:

December 31, 2026

subject to blackout periods for specific countries and routes.

Eligible fare classes

The international discount applies to:

Economy Lite – Q, N, R, T and E.

That means passengers looking at higher Economy fare families, Premium Economy or Business Class should not assume APPMAZING will apply.

Which International Destinations Can Be Included?

Vietnam Airlines' blackout-date document confirms that the promotion covers a broad range of international markets departing Vietnam, including routes involving:

• Australia
• India
• United Kingdom
• France
• Germany
• Denmark
• Netherlands
• Russia
• Thailand
• Malaysia
• Singapore
• Indonesia
• Philippines
• South Korea
• Japan
• Taiwan
• Hong Kong
• China
• United States
• Sri Lanka

Eligibility and blackout dates differ by destination.

Important Information for Indian Travelers

The offer includes eligible international services between Vietnam and Indian cities such as:

Delhi
Mumbai
Bangalore/Bengaluru

Vietnam Airlines' official blackout table specifically lists routes involving these Indian cities and Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City.

However, the APPMAZING international promotion is described as applying to routes departing Vietnam.

So, for example:

Hanoi → Delhi may potentially qualify on an eligible date and fare.

But:

Delhi → Hanoi should not automatically be assumed to qualify under APPMAZING.

This distinction is important if you're using the promotion to plan a round trip from India.

You should test the code in the app before payment and confirm that the discount actually appears on the itinerary.

Important Information for Australian Travelers

The URL supplied is the Australia-market Vietnam Airlines page, but that does not mean APPMAZING applies to all Australia-origin tickets.

Vietnam Airlines' official terms state that the international offer applies to routes from Vietnam to international destinations.

Therefore, a traveler looking for:

Sydney → Ho Chi Minh City

should not assume this promotion applies to that outbound sector.

A journey such as:

Ho Chi Minh City → Sydney

may be eligible if the travel date, booking class and other conditions are satisfied.

There are also blackout periods on Australia routes. Vietnam Airlines currently lists blackout dates for both Australia→Vietnam and Vietnam→Australia services during parts of September, October and December 2026.

Blackout Dates Are Important

One of the biggest restrictions on APPMAZING is that peak travel dates are excluded.

These dates differ by route.

For example, the official document lists restrictions during selected periods around:

• Christmas and New Year
• School/holiday peaks
• October travel dates
• November travel dates
• Major demand periods

The restrictions are different for Europe, Australia, India, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and other markets.

Therefore, do not assume that a ticket qualifies simply because your travel date falls before December 31.

Check your specific route's blackout dates first.

How to Get the Vietnam Airlines App Discount

The booking process is straightforward.

1. Download or open the Vietnam Airlines app

Use the official Vietnam Airlines mobile application.

2. Search on Tuesday

The promotion is specifically advertised as Tuesday App Deals.

Search and purchase on an eligible Tuesday.

3. Choose your route

For domestic travel, select an eligible Vietnam domestic flight.

For APPMAZING, select an eligible international journey departing Vietnam.

4. Check your fare class

Make sure your ticket is in an eligible booking class.

Domestic:

K/L/Q/N/R/T/E

International:

Q/N/R/T/E

5. Enter the promo code

Use:

APPDEAL
for domestic flights.

or:

APPMAZING
for eligible international flights.

6. Confirm the discount

Check the fare breakdown carefully.

Because the promotion applies only to the base fare, your final ticket will not necessarily be 10% cheaper overall.

7. Review baggage and fare rules

Economy Lite and Economy Classic can have different change, refund, seat and baggage conditions.

8. Complete payment

Once the code has been accepted and the price is correct, complete the purchase through the app.

Does 10% Off Mean 10% Off the Entire Ticket?

No.

This is one of the most important conditions.

Vietnam Airlines says the discount applies only to the:

Base fare

It does not reduce applicable:

• Taxes
• Airport charges
• Government fees
• Other applicable ticket fees.

For example, imagine your ticket consists of:

Base fare: AUD 400
Taxes and fees: AUD 150

A 10% base-fare discount would reduce the AUD 400 portion rather than the complete AUD 550 ticket.

The actual final saving would therefore be AUD 40 in this simplified example.

Promo Codes Are Limited

Vietnam Airlines explicitly says promotional codes are available in limited quantities.

Therefore, being within the promotional period does not guarantee a discount.

Once the allocated inventory has been used, the code may no longer produce the advertised saving.

Booking earlier on Tuesday may therefore be worth considering if your travel dates are already confirmed.

Multi-City Trips Are Not Eligible

Another restriction is important for travelers planning complex Vietnam itineraries.

The APPDEAL and APPMAZING promo codes are not applicable to multi-city itineraries.

If you're planning something such as:

Sydney → Ho Chi Minh City → Hanoi → Sydney

or another complex itinerary, you may need to compare separate bookings against a multi-city reservation to see which provides better overall value.

Do not split a ticket purely for the discount without considering connection protection and baggage rules.

Can You Combine APPMAZING With Another Promotion?

No.

Vietnam Airlines states that promotions cannot be combined.

If multiple promotions are potentially applicable, the promo code with the highest discount value will be used.

Therefore, always compare the final price against any:

• Partner voucher
• Bank-card offer
• Lotusmiles promotion
• Other Vietnam Airlines sale

A different promotion could potentially provide a better total saving.

What Happens If You Change Your Ticket?

Vietnam Airlines states that when an itinerary or booking is changed, calculations are based on the original fare before the promotional discount.

This is important if your plans are uncertain.

Before buying an Economy Lite fare simply because it receives 10% off, compare the fare-change and cancellation conditions with more flexible ticket options.

Sometimes paying slightly more initially can make sense if your dates are likely to change.

Why Book Through the Vietnam Airlines App?

The app is useful beyond this promotion.

Vietnam Airlines says its mobile application can store passenger profiles and travel-companion information, display flight history and help travelers purchase additional services.

Passengers can also use the app for online check-in, save a boarding pass as a QR code and receive check-in reminders.

For Lotusmiles members, the app can also display accumulated miles and provide access to mileage-related features and redemptions.

That makes the app especially convenient if you already travel with Vietnam Airlines regularly.

Lotusmiles Members Can Get More Value

Vietnam Airlines also highlights Lotusmiles on the promotional page and currently encourages non-members to register to access additional mileage opportunities when purchasing tickets online.

For frequent travelers, joining the loyalty program can make sense because miles can potentially be used for:

• Award tickets
• Baggage
• Upgrades
• Other eligible rewards

The mobile app also allows Lotusmiles members to review their accumulated miles and request mileage credit.

Is the Vietnam Airlines App Deal Worth It?

It can be, particularly if you were already planning to travel on an eligible route.

The offer is most attractive when:

Your travel dates are flexible – you can avoid blackout periods.

You are booking Economy Lite – the international discount specifically targets these fares.

You can purchase on Tuesday – which is essential to the campaign.

Your base fare is relatively high – a percentage discount becomes more meaningful.

You are traveling from Vietnam internationally – which is where APPMAZING applies.

However, you should still compare the promotional ticket against other fare options.

A 10% discounted Economy Lite fare is not automatically better than a slightly more expensive fare with more flexible rules.

Final Thoughts

The Vietnam Airlines App Amazing Dealspromotion is a useful opportunity for travelers who can plan their booking around Tuesday.

Domestic travelers can use APPDEAL for up to 10% off eligible Economy Classic and Economy Lite fares through October 27, while travelers flying internationally from Vietnam can check APPMAZING for up to 10% off qualifying Economy Lite base fares through the end of 2026.

The biggest thing to remember is that “10% off” does not mean 10% off your entire ticket. Taxes and fees are excluded, promotional codes are limited, certain fare classes qualify, and route-specific blackout periods apply.

If your itinerary fits those conditions, booking through the Vietnam Airlines app can be an easy way to reduce the airfare while also giving you access to mobile trip management, online check-in and a QR boarding pass.
